QCCU Sponsors in a Major Way!
When Townsville Hospital Foundation’s General Manager, Judy Higgins-Olsen, approached Queensland Country Credit Union to sponsor the Foundation’s annual signature dinner, it certainly didn’t take them long to respond with a resounding ‘YES!’.
Queensland Country Credit Union Branch Manager, Lizzy Ahern, said that the work the Foundation does in raising funds is essential for North Queensland communities.
“We’re very proud to be able to support the Foundation in raising funds for their services and equipment needed by the Hospital. Many of our Members have found themselves needing the services at The Townsville Hospital, and the role that we’re able to play in assisting with fundraising for this local Foundation is incredibly rewarding.”
The "Sunset Soiree" Progressive Dinner is the second of its kind for the Foundation, who enjoyed last year’s inaugural event’s success it was a no-brainer to bring it back for a second year. “We listened to feedback from locals and businesses about what types of events were wanted in the community. Everyone who attended last year had a fantastic time, and enjoyed a more relaxed event, that still catered with exquisite food, wine, company and of course, the opportunity to dine across three of Townsville’s CBD premier locations” Higgins-Olsen said.
Queensland Country Credit Union has again for the second year signed on to be the exclusive Major Sponsor for the "Sunset Soiree" Dinner being held on Sunday 12th August.
All funds raised from the evening will go towards the Townsville Hospital Foundation and stay local within the North Queensland community to ‘Make a Difference’ by enriching healthcare and providing additional support services across the region.
