A cross between a library and meals on wheels but much more fun, the idea behind this service is to offer some entertainment items that will help keep the sick youngsters occupied during their stay in the Children’s Ward.
You will be asked to help us distribute toys and books on a loans basis to Mums and Dads and to keep a loans register to help us locate the toys when playtime is over.
Love kids? This might be the volunteering role for you. We will soon be establishing a coordinated regular programme offering fun playtime activities to entertain and distract. If this sounds like your thing, why not give us a call to register your interest.

You will become one of the faces of the Foundation for a day or evening at a time, helping out with all sorts of activities from packing gift bags for events, attending events, sizzling sausages to raise funds, face painting, helping out with mail outs or telephone campaigns for fundraising appeals to name but a few of the exciting tasks you could be involved in.
