IGA Captains Collection Gala Dinner

On Saturday 8th of October, in excess of 820 guests turned out at Jupiters Casino in support of Townsville Hospital Foundation and The Townsville Hospital's Cardiac Services! Thanks to the generous donations, high bidding auction winners and ticket sales the $200,000 target was exceeded!

“Similar to 2010, the teams from Townsville Hospital Foundation and Walters IGA have worked incredibly hard to coordinate a number fundraising projects and events throughout the year which culminated in the very extravagant and equally successful IGA Captains Collection Gala Dinner." Simone Ryan, Townsville Hospital Foundation Manager, said.

"We were pleased to see the dramatic increase in support for the event, with a number of guests travelling to Townsville especially."

"We are extremely grateful to those who supported this event, and would like to extend a particular thanks to Walters IGA and ofcourse BHP Billiton for their generous donation." Ryan said.

Preparations for 2012's Gala Dinner have already begun, and we're very much looking forward to it.
