Give Me 5 For Kids, the annual radio appeal run by 102.3 4TO FM in association the Townsville Hospital Foundation began this Monday with a Breakfast Barbie.
4TO's very own Brekkie crew - Blair and Kathy broadcast live from the Hospital's Federation Gardens as the rest of the station's team sizzled Bacon & Egg in a Bun for hungry hospital workers.
Fundraising and raising awareness was the name of the game for the month long campaign takingplace throughout June. Brekkie Burgers were gobbled up for the bargain price of $5.
All proceeds from the morning will go towards furnishing the Townsville Hospital Children's Ward with Pulse oximeters and other essentials for the benefit of local kids.
